Happiness Isn’t in The Outcome.

Cafe Stories: What a mishap taught me.

Sometimes the experience matters more than the words.

It’s true.

Yesterday I went to my favourite cafe to write.

I got my coffee, got out my journal and BAM! No reading glasses! SH*T!

Seriously people, I can not see well enough to read without those things.

These things happen………. right?

…And I teach stuff like “rolling with it” ALL THE TIME… so I outta be able to roll with this thing.

I’ll be honest- it took me a hot minute to get myself together and not have the sea-foam of frustration wash over me in wave after oncoming wave.

It wasn’t just me forgetting my glasses.

It wasn’t that I’d rolled out of bed and forgotten to do the 3 things I’d told myself I had to do the night before without fail!
